Abstract: Thinking about the complexity of the data center environment, this paper explores the characteristics of knowledgebased agents to discover energy savings opportunities within these dynamic systems. The goal is to concentrate on the most significant problems while, at the same time, create some flexibility in which undesired metrics are acceptable in face of their positive and negative impact analysis from an energy perspective.
